Kicking off the show, we show our support for the men and women who are currently serving. How? By sending them packages while they are deployed. Carol Sanchez with the Rio Grande Valley Blue Star Mothers asks listeners for help packing boxes on February 27th. Also on the show, a "Sweet Thing to do With your Sweetheart" showcases friends, lovers,... and a balloon rally. It's the Friends & Lovers Balloon Rally taking place on February 13th & 14th! Charity Blanchard with the Albuquerque Aerostat Ascension Association joins the show to talk about the best place to see balloons in the winter time!  Featured segment has some history to it. And how historic is Nob Hill? Well 100 years old sums that up and Executive Director of Nob Hill Main Street Carolyn Chavez joins the show to talk about the historical background of Nob hill, the festivities taking place and how you can celebrate.

This week on Chalk Talk: Tech Tid Bits and the HoloLens is out of this world! It's a Double Summer Fun Series Feature with Image New Mexico 2015 all about New Mexico. And take a time machine at Casa San Ysidro!

This week host Andres T kicks things off with "Tech Tid Bits" and talks about the Mircrosoft HoloLens, its practical possibilities and its use in space. Also, it's a "Double Summer Fun Series" Feature. First in the feature is Image New Mexico 2015 and it's all about images taken of New Mexico by people from around the world. Co-Curator of the event is Photographer Tim Anderson as he explains why you need to come see the exhibition at the Matrix Fine Art Gallery in Albuquerque. Second on the feature will take you to the past. Host Andres T talks with Deb Slaney, Curator at the Albuquerque Museum and she joins the show to talk about the historic Casa San Ysidro. This historical place plays history out by featuring an educational "Second Saturday" every month which is free to the public. Ans on July 11th it's all about Southwestern ironwork!

An open house called La Resurreccion on February 27th invites the public to come support the recovery process. Featured guest on the show is Lisa Chavez with Warehouse Five O'eight as she joins to talk about the 4th Annual Film or Flight Youth Film Festival showcasing youth films at the KIMO Theater on March 13th.

On Chalk Talk this week Host Andres T has special guest and former University of New Mexico Football star Marcus "Goodie" Goodloe on the show to talk about Martin Luther King Jr. Day. He talks about a luncheon in Rio Rancho on Monday January 19th that listeners are invited to attend presented by the Southern Christian Leadership Conference New Mexico. Goodie was a collegiate All-American and was the 1st African American to earn a Ph.D. from Dallas Baptist University with his focus on  Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Featured guest on the show is the Road Runner Food Bank of New Mexico. Communications Officer of the RRFB Sonya Warwick joins Chalk Talk to talk about the issue of hunger in New Mexico and its challenges to fix the issue. Many individuals and families go hungry each and every day and the community can make a difference and help those in need. Sonya talks about one way and that is the "2015 Souper Bowl event taking place on January 24th.
